    Operations Manager – Signature Images (Mesa, AZ)

    Position Overview

    Signature Images is a locally owned and rapidly growing school, sports, and senior photography company serving the East Valley and Phoenix metro area. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, scheduling, logistics, staff coordination, systems, and process improvement. This role is critical to scaling the business while maintaining accuracy, reliability, and exceptional customer experience for schools and partners.

    Key Responsibilities

    Own daily operational execution across school, sports and senior photo programs

    Build and manage photographer schedules, equipment allocation, and capacity planning

    Ensure picture days are properly staffed, equipped, and prepared

    Implement systems, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and profitability

    Maintain operational dashboards, spreadsheets, and tracking systems

    Improve workflows, documentation, and standard operating procedures

    Coordinate onboarding, training, and performance accountability for staff

    Monitor payroll inputs, time tracking, and operational accuracy

    Partner with leadership on forecasting, growth planning, and resource needs

    Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve escalations quickly

    Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and school partners

    Create strategic and operational goals and objectives

    Oversee inventory control

    Handle customer service inquires

    Set and monitor key performance indicators

    Qualifications & Experience

    3+ years experience in operations, project management, logistics, or team leadership

    Previous experience as an Operations Manager is preferred

    Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution skills

    Advanced comfort with spreadsheets, dashboards, and systems management

    Experience managing schedules, resources, and multi-location operations

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Financial and administrative discipline (time tracking, budgeting, reporting preferred)

    Ability to lead with accountability and positive culture

    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal business environment

    Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed

    Must pass background check for school-related environments

    Deep understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management

    Ability to analyze financial data and create budgets and financial forecasts

    Excellent verbal and written communication

    Knowledge of sound business practices and financial principles

    Schedule

    Semi-Full-time role with weekday primary schedule

    Flexibility required during peak seasons and special events

    Occasional early mornings aligned with school operations
