Job Description

StudyWise Tutoring takes a holistic approach to students' school performance, even within math tutoring. Although the core of our company focuses on academic coaching (teaching organization, time-management, study skills and self-advocacy), math tutoring is the second most requested service behind academic coaching. Our subject tutors address organization, time-management, study skills, and self-advocacy in addition to teaching content. We believe students cannot be fully successful in difficult subjects without holistically approaching our tutoring. We are looking for math tutors for middle school all the way through advanced high school and college classes.*

Tutoring is on a part-time, as needed basis. Most tutors average 3-15 hours/week, but students sign a 12 week contract, with most of our students continuing with their tutor throughout the year. Tutoring may start as early as August and can either be remote or in-person in the Portland metro area. Please go to studywisetutoring.com for more information on the company.
