    Position: Substitute Teacher (Infant–Pre-K) Locations: Kiddie Academy of Parker & Kiddie Academy of Lone Tree Reports To: Academy Director / Assistant Director

    Summary The Substitute Teacher provides flexible classroom support across both Kiddie Academy of Parker and Lone Tree locations. This role assists in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, while ensuring compliance with Colorado Office of Early Childhood (OEC) licensing regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Step into classrooms as needed (infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-K)
    • Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all children
    • Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, toileting, and activities
    • Follow lesson plans or assist with age-appropriate activities
    • Maintain required staff-to-child ratios at all times
    • Adapt quickly to different classrooms, age groups, and team dynamics
    • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
    • Communicate effectively with staff and leadership at both locations
    • Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment

    Qualifications (Colorado Requirements)

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must complete PDIS trainings
    • 2+ years of verifiable experience with children
    • Flexible availability and reliable transportation between both locations
    • Experience with multiple age groups preferred

    Required Certifications

    • CPR & First Aid (Infant/Child) certification (or willingness to obtain)
    • Universal Precautions training
    • Background check and fingerprinting per Colorado regulations

    Physical Requirements
