HCT is seeking an experienced Nurse professional for an interim Stroke Subject Matter Expert opportunity with a 270+ hospital in southern California.  Responsibilities of the position include: 

• Re-establishing and maintaining accurate and timely data collection and reporting (TJC, GWTG, EMS).
• Data collection, data interpretation, and evaluating data for ongoing survey deficiencies for survey readiness.
• Providing near concurrent data review for critical patients within the population (i.e. TNK, Hemorrhagic transfers, etc.)
• Assistance with data presentation with TJC Intracycle Monitoring call and Stroke Steering Committee.

Requirements:

• Education: BSN required
• Experience: 3 years minimum experience required in similar position in an acute care hospital. Experience with Get with the Guidelines.
• License: California RN license in good standing required
• Certifications: BLS required (or must be obtained prior to starting)
• Computer Skills: Epic
