    OPPORTUNITY

    PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking a licensed or certified substance use counselor who can provide assessments and ongoing treatment for individuals with substance use disorders, often co-occurring with mental health issues. The role includes conducting validated assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, and preparing treatment plans while maintaining federal confidentiality compliance. Experience with justice-involved individuals and the ability to respond to complex clinical needs are key.

    Work Schedule: Services are typically delivered Monday through Friday, with hours scheduled based on client availability and referral volume. Flexibility is required to meet service needs, including occasional evenings.

    Place of Performance: Services must be rendered within Snohomish County, WA, in person at a confidential office location.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments that include alcohol and drug use history, co-occurring disorders, and criminogenic risk factors.
    • Use validated tools such as ASI, SCID, or GAIN in assessments.
    • Deliver evidence-based substance use treatment (CBT, relapse prevention, motivational interviewing).
    • Refer for psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring when applicable.
    • Prepare treatment plans and reports every 90 days.
    • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and confidentiality protocols.

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    • Certification or licensure in substance use treatment (CADC, LADC, etc.).
    • Master's degree in addiction counseling, clinical mental health, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with criminal justice system referrals and substance use trends in justice populations.
    • Ability to initiate services within 10 business days of referral.
    • Adequate physical facility or telehealth setup.
    • Proven ability to document and collaborate with stakeholders.
