Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, loving care for infants and preschool-aged children in a safe classroom environment
Implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support early childhood development
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment
Monitor and respond to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of each child
Communicate effectively with lead teachers, staff, and parents regarding daily activities and child progress
Follow all childcare licensing regulations, safety protocols, and center policies
Step in seamlessly as a substitute to maintain classroom routine and consistency for children
Requirements:
12 Early Childhood Education units with 3 infant units
Previous experience in early childhood education, childcare, or a related field preferred
Knowledge of infant and preschool developmental milestones
Current or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
Must pass a background check and meet California childcare licensing requirements
Reliable, flexible, and able to step in on short notice as needed
Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with young children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
