About SAGE PREP
At SAGE PREP, we believe young children are capable of more than the world often expects of them. Our classrooms honor learning through play, and then we go further: journal writing, rich academic vocabulary, and a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy. When a teacher is out, our scholars still deserve a great day of learning, and that’s where you come in.
Who You Are
You love children and can walk into any classroom ready to lead. You are dependable, quick to respond when called, and comfortable stepping into a new room, a new age group, or a new routine on short notice. You stay calm, warm, and in control, so scholars feel safe and keep learning even when their regular teacher is away. You follow plans carefully, take initiative when needed, and leave the classroom better than you found it.
How Scheduling Works
Substitute assignments are offered by text and phone call by 6:30 a.m. on the day of coverage. Substitutes who respond quickly and accept assignments consistently are first in line for future shifts.
