Responsibilities: • Build relationships with clients by delivering best-in-class service, frequent communication, and real estate knowledge • Consult with clients in order to discover their property criteria; then find properties that meet those needs • Schedule and accompany buyers to all necessary meetings, showings, home inspections, and closings • Call, convert, and prospect your own sphere of influence to generate additional leads per month • Capable of tracking, following up with, and closing several buyers' leads at once preferably using a CRM system • Prepare and explain documents such as representation contracts, purchase agreements, closing statements, and leases • Give buyers an overview of current market conditions and projections based on market research • Negotiate with other agents with your client's best interest in mind • Maintain active Illinois Real Estate license and complete continuing education requirements • Build and maintain working relationships with industry partners such as attorneys, inspectors, other agents, etc. • Join and maintain membership with the local real estate board and MLS • Communicate diligently with administrative staff to ensure the highest level of service to buyer clients from initial contact through contract to close • Submit required documents to the Managing Broker and Transaction Coordinator in a timely manner • Regularly attend team meetings and training sessions • Conduct open houses to market properties and meet new buyers • Abide by Fair Housing Laws and Real Estate Ethics Qualifications: • Hold an active Illinois Real Estate license • Possess a valid driver's license and means of transportation • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills • Display a positive, customer-focused attitude • Demonstrate great time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail for contract writing and review • Ability to build meaningful connections and rapport quickly and enjoy meeting new people • Highly self-motivated, accountable, and driven • Display high integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality • At least one year of experience as a Buyer’s Agent or relevant experience in the real-estate business is preferred but not required Compensation: $70,000 + annually
