    Job Description

    Are you passionate about math, science, literature, or history? Do you want your work to be meaningful? We are looking for great people to teach at our high school this year and next fall! No teaching degree or previous teaching experience required.

    Success Academy is searching for ambitious and dynamic people to join our team.     In this role, you will:

    • Put your content expertise in subjects such as biology, calculus, chemistry, and history to work to foster passion and mastery for kids

    • Build and manage strong, meaningful relationships with students, their families, and your peers and mentors

    • Inspire intellectual curiosity and love of learning to empower students emotionally 

    • Assess and analyze data to chart student growth and achievement, and tailor your own teaching methods

    • Tackle challenges in and out of the classroom, using problem-solving as a springboard for personal growth

    • Collaborate with smart, driven colleagues to deliver results in the classroom while having fun and making friends

  • Qualifications
    • A bachelor’s degree before your first day of work with Success Academy
    • A rigorous and relevant academic major (i.e, biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering)
    • Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations)
    • Supervise a classroom of 20+ students
