We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Success Coach to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to empower individuals to unlock their potential, overcome personal barriers, and achieve their life goals.
Important aspects::
Outreach to recent Getting Ahead Graduates to identify participants in the success coaching program.
Proactively communicating with Getting Ahead graduates including by phone call, text, and email based on the Getting Ahead Graduates' means of communication.
Work individually with Getting Ahead Graduates as challenges come up.
Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with Getting Ahead Graduates to identify their goals, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Develop personalized coaching plans tailored to each Getting Ahead Graduate's unique needs and aspirations.
Utilize various coaching techniques and tools to facilitate Getting Ahead Graduate's growth and self-awareness.
Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages open communication and trust.
Monitor Getting Ahead Graduate's progress and provide constructive feedback throughout the coaching process.
Maintain a record of Getting Ahead Graduate's progress so that progress can be shown throughout the sessions.
Gain feedback from Getting Ahead Graduates to improve overall effectiveness and experience.
Stay updated on the latest coaching trends, methodologies, and professional development opportunities.

This position is more of a calling than a job. Those applying must be passionate about empowering under resourced neighbors.
This is a 20 hour a week part time position. The hours are flexible.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Alignment with Common Heart core values of Intentional Kindness, Active Engagement, Initiative, Collaboration and Servant Leadership and Bridges Out of Poverty constructs.
Education BA/BS preferred.
A commitment to the mission and vision of Common Heart.
Proven experience as a Success Coach or in a similar role.
Certification in Coaching or related fields preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively connect with Getting Ahead Graduates.
Ability to listen actively and empathize with Getting Ahead Graduates' challenges.
Demonstrated knowledge of coaching methodologies and practices.
High levels of motivation and self-discipline to inspire Getting Ahead Graduates.
Flexibility to adapt coaching styles and strategies to meet diverse Getting Ahead Graduate's needs.
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Creative problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Display patience and the ability to stay calm while others are upset
An understanding or experience of poverty and food insecurity
Great people skills and the ability to connect with individuals experiencing generational poverty. Having their own poverty experience is beneficial.
A good sense of humor
Completed Getting Ahead, TED, and/or Bridges Out of Poverty Training is a plus, but not mandatory.
Exhibiting Compassion yet able to keep proper boundaries
Proficient in the use of email, word processing, and spreadsheet applications. Familiarity with Google Apps versions of these products is helpful.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
A background check, reference check and drug screening is required for this position.
