    Our property management company is seeking a dynamic and engaging Part-Time Showing Assistant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who is friendly and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. You place great importance on having both the interior and exterior of a property looking clean and appealing. As a Showing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in hosting open houses and providing a welcoming environment for potential tenants. Your responsibilities will include showcasing properties, answering questions, and representing our commitment to our landlords with professionalism. The ideal candidate should have a natural affinity for working with a wide variety of clients including families with children and pets. They need to possess the ability to offer meticulous attention to detail when evaluating potential tenants. Your analytical skills will be key in assessing applicants' suitability and ensuring that only the most responsible and reliable tenants are considered for our landlords' properties. Flexibility is a must for this position, as you will need to adapt to a schedule that requires moving from one location to another. We are looking for someone who is not only great with people, but also understands that they are an extension of our property management team, dedicated to safeguarding our landlords' interests without engaging in the sales aspects of real estate. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and prepare for open house events, ensuring all necessary information, materials, and signage are set up prior to the start of the event. • Welcome potential tenants, facilitate their entry by managing sign-in sheets, and distributing necessary documentation such as leases and instructions. • Actively engage with attendees, providing detailed information about the property and answering any questions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the premises. • Observe and interact with potential tenants and their pets (if any). • Assessing pets and their suitability and behavior to gauge any potential impact on the property. • Collect feedback and insights from open house visitors to aid in the evaluation process, enhance future showings, and fine tune marketing. • Remove all signage and materials post-event, leaving the property in pristine condition. • Compile and submit a detailed summary report to broker, highlight attendee engagement, potential leads, and overall assessment of the event's success, with specific notes on any pets and their behavior during the visit. • Scan and upload any paper rental applications recieved. • Communicate effectively with the property management team, offering insights and recommendations based on observations and interactions with potential tenants and their pets. Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in college or a recent graduate, preferably with a focus in education, business, or communications, although all majors are encouraged to apply. • Experience in working with pets, demonstrating patience, understanding, and the ability to assess behavior in various environments. • Self-motivated with the ability to perform tasks independently, showcasing strong initiative and problem-solving skills. • Professional in attitude and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills to engage positively with potential tenants and represent the company effectively. • Possesses a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive as needed to attend multiple open house events across different locations. • Quick learner with the ability to grasp relevant documents and software, sign-in procedures for open houses, and other necessary property management protocols. • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage time effectively, ensuring punctuality and the smooth operation of open house events. • With the ability to provide clear and concise reports on open house outcomes and tenant interactions in both verbal and written forms. Compensation: $20 Hourly
