Some qualities expected also include financial planning, strategic thinking, maintenance, and supply chain management. The responsibilities include many business processes including human resources, operations, and reports to the CEO. We are looking for someone who understands the ins and outs of logistics. You understand transportation routing software and systems. You understand the dynamics of trucking and drivers on our team. The ultimate goal is to communicate properly with our customers, our staff, and our truckers in order to maintain the health of our business and facilitate growth with the adoption of several metrics for your success. Responsibilities: As head of operations, your responsibilities will include the following: • Reducing overhead ~ cost savings • Working with customers and our truckers • Overseeing Safety and Compliance • Strategic planning, internal processes, creating SOPs • Mentoring staff including continuous evaluations • Train employees to follow processes • Developing new sales • Develop new projects • Continuously self improve Qualifications: • Previous experience in Transportation Management is a must. You must be able to communicate well and have experience with contract negotiation • You should have a history of achieving and consistently exceeding business goals • You must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and Google Docs • You should be able to create and manage a detailed budget • Enjoy being in a job where no task is above or below you • Analyze performances and develop tasks • FMCSA Compliance is a must • Completely Capable of problem-solving and conflict resolution • Knowledgeable of producing KPIs • Knowledge of safety and compliance Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000 yearly
