We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and goal-oriented Director of Business Development to join our team and help us expand our operations and build strong relationships. Benefits: We offer a full benefits package, 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision Salary is determined based on the applicant's skills; prior relevant experience, etc. Total compensation (base salary plus commission) expected to be anywhere from $150,000 to $200,000 Responsibilities: • Create and implement tactical plans to promote company expansion and increase the client base. • Construct and maintain a positive rapport with potential and current customers. • Coordinate efficiently with internal groups to guarantee a consistent, remarkable client journey. • Attend industry events, shows, and conventions to showcase our ability and broaden our network. • Accumulate a thorough understanding of our services, the Californian freight market, and the latest industry developments. • Monitor, assess, and report on performance metrics, leveraging data-based insights to enhance our strategies and optimize outcomes. • Provide feedback and guidance in the creation of promotional materials, offers, and presentations that emphasize our distinct value. Qualifications: • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage. • Proven success in transportation, logistics, or a similar sector with over 4 years experience in business development. • Well-versed in the California regional freight environment, full truckload hauls, and industry standards. • Skilled networker with remarkable relationship-building capabilities to create strong alliances and persuade clients. • Articulate communicator and presenter, able to explain our vision and value to various stakeholders. • Strategic thinker with the capacity to identify potential and transform them into profitable ventures. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and specialized software and tools. Compensation: $65,000+ yearly
