    The Chief Operations Officer (COO) of our Bloomington office will be responsible for overseeing the functioning of our company. Working in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the COO will ensure that our organizational objectives and targets are met in an effective and efficient manner. The COO will provide guidance and direct the operational teams with regard to finances, personnel, customer service, and other areas. A sound understanding of our organization's goals and how they relate to daily operations is necessary for the successful performance of this role. Responsibilities: • Be the champion of daily operations, ensuring all departments (transportation, dispatch, and client relations) work like a well-oiled machine. • Devise and launch ingenious operational strategies to keep us ahead of the curve and elevate our performance to dazzling heights. • Foster rock-solid relationships with clients that'll have them singing our praises and coming back for more. • Lead our dispatch and internal team members with passion and gusto, empowering them to shine brightly in their roles. • Join forces with the executive team to set ambitious performance goals, track our progress, and make data-driven decisions that will skyrocket our success. • Ensure we always play by the rules, adhering to industry regulations, safety standards, and our own top-notch policies. • Analyze key performance metrics like a boss, identify trends, and fine-tune our approach for maximum impact. Qualifications: Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; Master's degree a plus. • A solid 10+ years of experience in transportation or logistics, with a trophy case of operations management successes. • In-depth knowledge of the California regional freight landscape, full truckload hauls, and industry best practices. • Leadership skills that inspire and rally the troops, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. • A natural at building relationships and delivering unbeatable customer service that keeps clients coming back for more. • Stellar communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills that will make you the life of the party. • A keen eye for detail and data-driven decision-making prowess, with a relentless drive for continuous improvement. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software and tools.
