    SUL LEE LAW FIRM, PLLC Legal Assistant - Korean Speaking Preferred We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Korean) experienced legal assistant to support our growing legal team. The ideal candidate for this position will work as part of a team to support attorneys in all matters related to litigation. Remote or Hybrid option available Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 (Depending on experience) Responsibilities: Client communication: • Updating clients in Korean • Coordinating communication between client and attorney • Gathering necessary information and documents from clients • Translating Korean documents for case managing attorneys • Summarizing case status and informing case strategies to clients in Korean Assisting attorneys: • Conducting fact investigation and collecting relevant information to assist in issue identification • Preparing summaries of factual issues • Monitoring legal or regulatory developments • Checking sites and retrieving law, policies, and regulations • Preparing shell for legal documents • Preparing and sending letters opposing side • Drafting deposition notices, subpoenas, affidavits, and pretrial orders • Coordinating with process servers • Interacting with co-counsel, experts, and court personnel Administrative duties: • Calculating and calendaring deadlines • Coordinating services for depositions • Arranging witnesses and scheduling depositions • Organizing exhibits and filing pleadings, answers, and motions • Arranging process servers • Assisting with client meetings • Preparing litigation binder for hearings • Answering phone calls • Keeping case filing system organized so all pertinent documents are readily accessible • Performing other related duties and activities as required Qualifications: Minimum: • No experience is required but 1-2 years of experience in administrative work experience is preferred Skills: • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Native or fluent in Korean (reading, speaking, and writing) • Translate complex legal documents from English to Korean, and vice versa • Excellent time-management and organizational skill • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) • Proficient in Adobe • Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team Benefits: After Probationary Period: • Health Insurance • Dental & Vision Insurance • Paid time off • 401(k) and company match of 4% • Professional development assistance Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE
