SumBridge is hiring a Financial Reporting Analyst for one of our favorite banking clients! This is a permanent, full-time role that offers competitive compensation and benefits, including a remote work environment within the footprint of Washington and Oregon.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for financial reporting to include report publishing, report automation, data governance and interdepartmental report alignment
• FDICIA reporting and compliance
• Preparation of monthly board reports, quarterly earnings releases, annual financial statements, and investor relations reports
• Analyze financial data and trends and create financial reports for decision support.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
• Ad hoc reporting and data generation to include loans/deposits/general ledger data.
• Implements and updates systems related to the facilitation of the above functions.
• Regulatory reporting support and backup
• Assists with information gathering for both internal and external routine audits and examinations.
• Other various related tasks associated with the accounting department
Qualifications:
• Completed bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business, preferred
• 4 years of financial reporting experience in a financial institution
• Thorough knowledge of financial institution accounting requirements, practices and procedures.
• Understanding of governmental regulations and financial regulatory reporting requirements.
• Understanding of query/report writing functions.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Able to organize, coordinate, implement and direct projects.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Solid analytical and technical skills.
• Able to use all related hardware and software.
