Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain at T-Mobile offers a fast-paced and team-focused environment that will grow your Finance and leadership skills as you help craft the success of the Un-carrier. You will work across the different functions at T-Mobile and make a difference in how we do business. The intern will have the opportunity to learn forecasting and modeling techniques supporting T-Mobiles Customer Care and Retail organizations. Are you ready to join the Un-Carrier?

What you will do

• Through use of various data analysis techniques, partner with internal organizations (Finance, Care, Sales, etc.) to help generate forecasts and budgets.
• Develop, maintain, and refine Excel and SQL based models.
• Build, maintain and enhance forward-facing PowerBI-based tools for use by leaders to view, analyze and modify information.
• Assist with the development of financial presentations to executive leadership.
• Develop a deep understanding of how T-Mobile builds Customer Care and Retail forecasts, tracks spending and maintains budgets.
• Assist with quality assurance testing of models and deliverables.
• Support process documentation of financial modeling, processes, and procedures.
• Interact with cross-functional teams in various disciplines supported by the team (Sales, Care, Procurement) as well as other teams in the finance organization.
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master’s program in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills.
• Outstanding data analysis, organizational, and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, work ethic, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
• Basic understanding of finance and accounting disciplines.

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
