Job Description

David Weekley Homes is seeking a motivated Homebuilding Intern to join the Tampa division for summer 2026. This internship provides hands-on exposure to multiple areas of the homebuilding industry, including sales, marketing, purchasing, and general operations.

Interns will collaborate with experienced professionals, gain real-world industry knowledge, and contribute to projects that support our communities and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support across sales, marketing, and operational functions.

• Assist with customer interactions and overall client experience.

• Contribute to marketing efforts, research, and community initiatives.

• Gain exposure to purchasing processes and vendor coordination.

• Participate in team meetings and collaborative projects.

• Assist with administrative and project-related tasks as needed.

• Support cross-functional initiatives and departmental priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be located in the greater Tampa Bay/Bradenton/Sarasota area for the duration of the internship.

• Currently enrolled in a full-time college or university program (marketing, business, real estate, or related field).

• Interest in the residential construction/homebuilding industry.

• Reliable transportation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Customer-focused mindset.
