  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Your role:

    • Develop software-based tools to assist with market analysis and portfolio management for the US Environmental Markets business
    • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support trade ideation and quantify portfolio risk
    • You will receive exposure to various US environmental commodity markets, trading strategies, and Portfolio Management techniques
    • End of internship presentation to the Head of the US Business
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Studying towards a degree in (Environmental) Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, Environmental Studies, or related degree
    • Interest in commodity markets — a particular interest in energy or environmental markets is a plus
    • Experience building analytical software or data science tools
    • Proficiency in Python, MS Office (especially Excel)
    • Focused self-starter
    • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
    • Structured and disciplined way of working
    • Strong motivation and proactiveness
    • Intellectually curious
    • Analytically adept
    • High level of personal integrity
