Are you an experienced teacher who loves the arts and working with children? Are you looking for a fun and rewarding summer job?

Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for children. In addition to our studio locations in Alsio Viejo and Dana Point, we also hold classes and camps in various South Orange County areas. We are currently looking for someone to fill a lead teacher role where you will teach in one of our summer programs. Hours are variable based on the candidate, but would would be Monday-Friday 8am-5:00pm.

This position would be perfect for a teacher or student teacher who wants to get some extra hours during summer break!

Kidcreate’s curriculum is designed by art education professionals, and is tailored to match the developmental needs of children at different ages. We offer preschool classes that encourage children's growing independence and school-aged classes that encourage self-confidence and creativity.

Kidcreate South Orange County is owned by a local entrepreneur who is passionate about kids, quality art education, and the local community. She values the members of her teaching team and is committed to maintaining a supportive and rewarding work enviroment.

What you'll do

Prepare for classes and projects (using provided curriculum)

Lead classes for children ages 3-11

Interact with parents and caregivers

Maintain materials and supplies

What is required

Must be 21 years or older

Willing to submit to a background check

Valid drivers license and auto insurance

Reliable transportation

Able to lift and carry 10-20 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally

Availability Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for the summer - schedule variable for the right candidate

Candidates who have experience working with children in large groups

Passion for working kids

Enthusiastic, patient, and outgoing personalities who can make art lessons FUN!

College education (experienced teachers preferred)

Reliability

Strong interest in Arts and Crafts

Comfortable working in various environments
