We are seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and outgoing Camp Counselor to join our SCAP team! As a Camp Counselor, your top priority will be ensuring the safety, supervision, and positive experience of all campers. You will lead engaging activities, support campers throughout the day, and help create a fun, memorable, and nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, loves the outdoors, and is excited to share their passion for learning, exploration, and adventure with our campers. Please note this position is seasonal

Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate games, sports, and a variety of outdoor activities

Supervise campers closely and escort them safely between daily activities

Provide fun and educational learning experiences

Set up, break down, and maintain activity and camp equipment

Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and guardians

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a camp counselor or in a similar youth‑focused role

Experience leading or participating in a wide range of outdoor activities

Highly organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, running, standing for extended periods, and carrying equipment
