Split Shift Schedule: 7:00am to 9:00am and 3:00pm to 5:00pm

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Driver to join our team! As the Hopes Respite Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers’ well-being. The ideal candidate is comfortable driving children with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

Pick up and drop off participants at designated locations

Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations

Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly

Assist participants with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner

Engage with participants in a friendly and courteous manner

Qualifications

CDL preferred

Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Ability to follow GPS directions
