Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced music and/or dance instructor for a children's summer program serving ages 3-11. The ideal candidate will be able to create engaging, age- appropriate activities that promote creativity, movement, and fun.

Responsibilities

Choose activities, lessons, and music based on available students age

Leading group sessions and fostering a positive and inclusive environment

Properly assess the skills of each student under your care, and work with students to develop their individual skills

Stay up to date with trends in both teaching and the music industry

Maintain all musical equipment, as necessary

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills

Excellent leadership and time management skills

The ability to make decisions under pressure

Patience

Experience with working with young children is a plus, but not a requirement. Background in dance, music, or performing arts preferred.
