Learning By The Lakes Academy Inc. is seeking energetic, responsible, and creative Summer Camp Counselors to work with school-age children during our summer program. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on activities, active play, and creating a fun, engaging summer experience for children.

Position Details

Seasonal summer position

Working with school-age children

Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available

Daytime summer program schedule

Responsibilities

Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate summer activities

Supervise children during indoor/outdoor play, group activities, and field trips

Promote teamwork, creativity, and positive social interactions

Maintain a safe, structured, and fun environment

Build positive relationships with children and families

Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations

Collaborate with camp staff and center leadership

Qualifications

Must meet Associate Teacher qualifications

Minimum of 9 college credits in Education or Early Childhood Education

Experience working with school-age children preferred

Energetic, dependable, and professional

Ability to meet all state licensing requirements

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
