About the Role:

Join Generation 4 @ Welfare Baptist Church this summer as a Summer Camp Counselor! This exciting position allows you to inspire and mentor children in a fun, faith-based environment while creating lasting memories and friendships.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead engaging activities and games for campers.

Supervise and ensure the safety of all campers at all times.

Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Assist with daily camp logistics, including setup and cleanup.

Encourage spiritual growth through Bible studies and discussions.

Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff.

Handle any conflicts or issues that arise with care and professionalism.

Participate in staff training and meetings as required.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old with a passion for working with children.

Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or camp counseling preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.

Must possess a positive attitude and a nurturing demeanor.

Willingness to embrace and promote the mission of Welfare Baptist Church.
