    Job Description

    Come join our customer service team as a Customer Service Representative - Wholesale . This position works out of our Claremont, NC upholstery plant location and enjoys monthly employee events and your own private office space. Our Claremont Upholstery plant is located at 2860 N. We offer: * Competitive health, dental, and vision plans * 401(k) plan with match after 12 months * Employee Assistance Program and Chaplain Services to support mental and emotional well-being * Paid sick, vacation, holidays, and paid parental time * Monthly incentive and/or bonus opportunities * Generous Employee Product Purchase discount What you do: * Communicates with customers, sales representatives, and other team members in an empathetic and professional manner offering creative solutions when appropriate. * Thorough knowledge of product lines, policies, processes, and procedures. * Processes orders and ensures that all order-related communication and paperwork is processed within the time frame specified for each task assigned. * Provides primary support for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 volume territory. * Reviews acknowledgments for accuracy and makes appropriate corrections when needed. * Establishes new accounts and facilitates the onboarding process. * Completes all assigned reports within the designated time frame. * Works closely with relevant departments, including, but not limited to accounting, traffic, distribution, and production, as needed. What you bring: * Some phone-based customer service required * Three years of customer service experience preferred, furniture or apparel industry or another phone-based customer service highly preferred * Computer skills including general knowledge and use of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word required; ERP system experience preferred. * Experience using general office equipment including a desktop computer, Chromebook, iPad, telephone, fax, scanner, copier, and printer. * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required. * Highly organized, detailed, and goal-oriented, with the ability to work under deadlines. * Excellent critical thinking, data analysis, and problem-solving skills. * Active listening and problem-solving abilities are a must. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Punctuality and professionalism are required. * Ability to work in the office for the expected hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some overtime expected. This is not a work-from-home position.
