The Summer Intern will be responsible for assessing and develop a marketing communication strategy & plan to effectively communicate with the DePuy Synthes sales organization. We will push new boundaries but utilizing the latest communication technologies to promote connectivity and engagement with the sales organization. They will extend a successful team culture by enabling individual strengths, building new skills through personal development, and encouraging collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a market situational analysis on current Sales Force Organization (SFO) communication channels (e.g., SharePoint site, newsletters, JointsTV, Axonify, etc.)
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research with key internal stakeholders. Specifically: Interview sales reps and managers (VOCs) to understand their needs and preferences for internal communication.
• Research and analyze industry best practices in internal marketing and communications for sales teams.
• Evaluate new communication technologies and assess effectiveness.
• Develop a marketing communication plan for the SFO informed by VOCs.
• Present plan and proposed long-term solutions to the GGM leadership team
• Implement methods of improvement based on market communication proposal.
• Lead multiple related projects ensuring on-time completion according to schedule and budget
• Build and cultivate close, collaborative professional relationships with key stakeholders to gain alignment and build a shared goal

Qualifications

• Seeking Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines required.
• Demonstrated success in using written and oral communications skills
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and with teams is required.
• Shown ability to interact effectively and collaborate
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities required.
• Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to influence small and large groups is required.

The base pay for this position is Sophomore $24/p/hr, Junior $25 p/hr, Senior $27p/hr, Master’s degree $32p/hr. Note: if the variable is “discipline”, “degree” or “experience,” the “program year” variable above can be substituted out.
