Cirrus Logic is looking for a summer intern to join our Product Test Engineering team! You will be aiding in the development of production test solutions for high volume manufacture of complex mixed-signal semiconductors for consumer audio devices. You will work closely as part of a multi-functional team to develop new test techniques and methodologies to improve the testability of devices under test and promote their adoption within the company.
Responsibilities
Assist engineers with the development and production of mixed-signal and analog semiconductor integrated circuits
Perform electrical bench and ATE analysis
Gather and summarize data
Design and build test hardware
Manage yield enhancement and cost reduction projects for ramping products
NPI support including matrix lot review, GRR, CPK, and test program release and production hardware buy-off
Interface with cross-function groups to manage NPI production ramp deliverables and timelines
Required Skills and Qualifications
Pursuing BS in Electrical Engineering, finishing Junior (3rd) year by the time the internship begins
Mixed-signal product engineering experience
Lab equipment use (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, waveform generators, and power supplies)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to improve designs and repeatedly attempt to develop solutions to difficult problems
Knowledge in yield analysis and data analysis techniques (ANOVA, Regression, PAT, SBL, GRR)
Knowledge in data analysis using tools such as (Spotfire, JMP, PDF, Excel)
knowledge and experience in high volume production ramps
Knowledge of test hardware debug and schematic tracing
Experience with integrated circuit testing and test setup
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of Teradyne UFlex, Excerra, Catalyst test systems
Linux/Unix shell scripting
Knowledge of IC or board-level test and failure analysis
This position is located in Austin, TX
Cirrus Logic follows a 2+ day in-office work schedule but interns should expect to be in the office more often, up to 5 days per week, based on business needs and team preference. Interns must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning their internship with Cirrus Logic.
