Cirrus Logic’s Verification Methodology Team is looking for an intern who will be a contributor on a small, focused, multi-site team delivering web applications and who can work 40 hours/week (in-person) during the summer 2023 semester. You will work closely with multi-functional teams including design, design services/CAD, software, datasheet, and systems teams to assist Software Engineers in delivering robust, scalable, and reliable software web apps to meet critical design objectives.
Responsibilities
Use your learning and creativity to help drive new innovative software applications and components
Collaborate with team members, testers, and partners to develop, test, and support product features
Follow standard methodologies in an agile software development environment
Contribute to the documentation and delivery of software
Adhere to coding standards as set by the team lead
Work with third party systems

Required Skills and Qualifications
You are actively pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Understanding of MVC and OOP design patterns
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Understanding of at least one programming language (Python, Perl, C, etc.)
Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Self-motivated and able to work in a small team with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Understanding of QA and test driven development
Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) software a plus
Understanding of version control (git, SVN, perforce)
Understanding of high-volume website development
Understanding of Linux deployment
This position is located in Austin, TX
Cirrus Logic follows a 2+ day in-office work schedule but interns should expect to be in the office more often, up to 5 days per week, based on business needs and team preference.
