We are seeking a Summer Associate/Summer Law Clerk to support our Litigation Department. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong legal research and writing skills, fluency in Korean, and an interest in construction-related matters. The Summer Associate/Law Clerk will work closely with attorneys on active litigation matters, including those involving construction disputes, and will gain hands-on experience in case preparation, legal analysis, and client interaction. Responsibilities: • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other litigation-related documents • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including discovery, document review, and trial support • Translate legal and business documents between Korean and English as needed • Support communication with Korean-speaking clients, witnesses, and experts • Analyze contracts, particularly construction-related agreements, and summarize key provisions • Participate in client meetings, depositions, and court proceedings (as appropriate) • Organize and manage case files and litigation materials • Perform general support tasks for the litigation team as assigned Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (or recent graduate awaiting bar results) • Fluency in Korean (written and spoken) required • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills are essential • Demonstrated interest or experience in litigation • Prior exposure to construction law, engineering, or the construction industry is highly preferred • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Professional demeanor and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000
