    Summer Law Clerk (on-site) About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented second-year law student to join our team as a Summer 2026 Law Clerk, supporting our agricultural Labor & Employment practice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working closely with attorneys on a wide range of employment-related matters in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Requirements: • Must be able to work on-site (this is not a remote position) • Availability to work during regular business hours • Copy of transcript (unofficial or official) Preferred Qualifications: • Prior coursework or demonstrated interest in labor and employment law • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required) What We Offer: • Practical, hands-on legal experience in labor and employment law in the agricultural industry • Mentorship from experienced attorneys • A supportive and collaborative work environment Responsibilities: • Prepare the initial drafts of various documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses • Draft legal memoranda with results of research in order to assist with the strategy for court proceedings • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on labor and employment law issues • Assist in the preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents • Review and summarize case law, statutes, and administrative regulations • Support attorneys in case preparation, including organizing case files and exhibits • Attend client meetings, depositions, and hearings when appropriate Qualifications: • Candidates must have great writing skills and communication skills to be able to argue effectively • Should have great attention to detail and a strong work ethic • Currently enrolled as a second-year (2L) student at an accredited law school • Strong academic performance and excellent research and writing skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Compensation: $35 - $45 hourly

    • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on labor and employment law issues • Assist in the preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents • Review and summarize case law, statutes, and administrative regulations • Support attorneys in case preparation, including organizing case files and exhibits • Attend client meetings, depositions, and hearings when appropriate • Perform other duties as assigned to support the legal team
