Summer Position - Children's Lead Art Teacher

Kidcreate Studio is an art studio just for children. We teach classes, camps and birthday parties in our studio locations in Dana Point and Aliso Viejo and throughout the South Orange County community. We are currently looking for several great teachers to join our summer team. The schedule would be based on the candidate's availiabilty and our needs.
Availability The ideal candidate would be available:
May 26th - August 7th. Shorter availability can work, but you must be available at least 6 weeks during that time.
Mondays-Thursdays
Minimum 20 hours per week
Option for weekend hours teaching birthday parties for the right candidate - tips available
The schedule has potential for 35+ hours per week in the summer.

What you'll do
Prepare for summer camps and classes using provided curriculum.
Lead classes for children ages 3-11
Utilize your teaching talents to manage a classroom of 10-24 students, camps will generally have an assistant as well.
Interact with parents and caregivers.
Clean up your classroom with provided cleaning supplies.
Maintain materials and supplies.
What is required
Must be 21 years or older
Willing to submit to a DOJ/FBI background check
Valid drivers license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
Able to lift and carry 10-20 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally
Flexible availability and comfortable with part-time hours that may vary from week to week
Experience working with groups of preschool and/or elementary aged children
Who we're looking for

Enthusiastic, fun, and outgoing personalities
College education a plus (graduates or in progress)
Reliability
Strong interest in arts and crafts - our curriculum is easy to follow and you don't have to be a master artist. We're looking for someone who enjoys the process and helps children have fun and feel accomplished.
Flexible and comfortable working in various environments
