Global Strategic Minerals Corporation (GSMC) is a rapidly growing new company providing strategic intelligence on the world economy. This internship will include a crash course in May on the creation of judgmental prediction large language model-powered trading bots.

You will be responsible for writing programs that enhance the data collecting and prediction quality of these algorithms, and you will get to track the performance of your algorithms throughout the summer and, if you wish, beyond. This job will also require dedicated deep research where you will rapidly become an expert on one aspect of the supply chain: all the way from mines to electric vehicles, for example. You will devise strategies for bringing addition context and models to the large language models, and hopefully approach the forefront of research in this area. This is a challenging and open-ended task.

You will also learn from experienced portfolio managers, researchers and developers. Our spacious office is in downtown Darien steps from the Darien train station, putting you minutes from the Long Island Sound but also within easy reach of New York City.
