Shift Leader Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant during assigned shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Train and mentor team members on proper food handling, culinary techniques, and restaurant procedures
- Monitor food production to maintain quality and consistency
- Manage inventory control and ordering to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Assist with scheduling and staffing needs
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Experience:
- Previous shift leader experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling and culinary techniques
- Familiarity with restaurant management software and POS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Skills:
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food safety practices and regulations
- Culinary: Understanding of cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and recipe development
- Restaurant leadership: Experience overseeing restaurant operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service
- Food production: Ability to oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Inventory control: Proficiency in managing inventory levels, tracking usage, and minimizing waste
- Help: Willingness to assist team members with tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Hospitality: Commitment to providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant procedures, policies, and best practices
- POS: Experience using point-of-sale systems for order processing and payment handling
- Food service: Knowledge of industry standards for food service operations
Total Rewards:
$18 per hour base pay
Free meal during shift, and off-shift dining discount
No late hours - the restaurant closes nightly at 9 or 10 PM
