Highly established, full-service engineering firm currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our talented team in Asheboro, NC. This position requires a talented and highly motivated individual who specializes in Structural Design. Must be a team player and an invaluable resource for our engineers, designers, and clients. The role of the Structural Engineer is to provide structural and foundation designs for residential, multi-family, industrial and institutional clients. In addition, candidate will perform site visits, on-site evaluations and provide engineering reports and recommendations for clients needing field repairs, or structural inspections. Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: • Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit (Preferred), and the ability to produce construction documents on a multitude of structural engineering-related projects including plans, specifications, details, and sections of our building projects • Perform site visits for collecting design inputs for structural analysis • Perform peer review of structural analysis reports and construction drawings prepared by peer engineers and drafters • Perform field visits to assess field issues or provide structural inspections and prepare engineering reports • Develop and maintain client relationships • Manage projects and oversee project assignments, deadlines, and meetings • Review and apply local codes and standards to construction documents • Review and apply proper structural design standards and guidelines • Perform Structural Engineering calculations Qualifications: • Bachelors in Structural Engineering or in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis from an accredited university (Required) • Masters in Structural Engineering or in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis from an accredited University (Preferred) • 3 years of experience (Required) • 2020 AutoCAD (Required) • 2020 Revit (Preferred) • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Required) • North Carolina Professional Engineer License (Required) • Structural Engineer License (Preferred) Compensation: $50,000 - $100,000 yearly Depending on Experience
