Summit Interconnect has a current open remote position for a Large Language Model Engineer Intern.

As a leader in our field, we are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist Intern to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge projects. As an LLM Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects that impact the success of our business. This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in deploying and optimizing large language models (LLMs) on the Azure cloud platform, while allowing you to contribute meaningfully to our ongoing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

1. Large Language Model (LLM) Deployment on Azure:

**** • Assist in the deployment of open-source LLM on the Azure cloud platform.

• Configure and optimize deployment settings to ensure efficient performance and scalability.

2. Integration and Testing:

• Collaborate with the development team to integrate an open-source LLM into existing applications or frameworks.

• Conduct testing and debugging to identify and resolve any deployment issues or errors.

3. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Document the deployment process, including setup instructions, configuration details, and troubleshooting steps.

• Share insights and best practices with the team to enhance collective knowledge.

4. Continuous Learning and Improvement:

• Stay updated on the latest developments in cloud computing and LLM models.

• Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to improve deployment processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in AI/ML technologies and software engineering
• Familiarity with building and maintaining scalable API solution
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Prior experience or coursework related to language models, particularly Large Language Models (LLM) like Bard, HuggingFace Transformers, LLaMa, PyTorch and similar,
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript programming language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay for this remote intern position is $20.00 hour.
