    ROLE: INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

    About the role: Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for expanding market share by developing opportunities with schools and districts through building a sales pipeline within a defined territory, conducting web demos, providing quotes, and closing deals with schools, school districts, and charter schools.  The Inside Sales Representative is an instrumental team member working collaboratively to meet sales targets and annual revenue goals. This will include the execution of sales campaigns by prospecting, developing opportunities, preparing and delivering sales demonstrations, and collaborating with an outside sales partner. The ISR will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly goals within target territories. These goals may include leading Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as number of calls, number of web demos, and number of quotes, while trailing KPIs will include # new customers, average $ of each sale, and total sales $ closed for the month.

    DAILY PROCESSES:

    • Engage in all facets of the sales process

    • Manage new, renewal, and upsell business opportunities

    • Assist with sales projects and campaign activities

    • Maintain and expand relationships with current partners

    • Deliver virtual webinars regarding product introductions and demonstrations that explain product offerings, features, and benefits to increase new, add-on, and renewal sales

    • Provide excellent customer support to ensure successful product implementation and secure renewals

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • In-depth understanding of the sales process

    • Ability to communicate professionally, persuasively, and confidently in person, phone, and email

    • Confidence in collaborating and partnering with district administrators including Curriculum and Instruction Directors, Assistant Superintendents, Bilingual Directors, Curriculum Coordinators, as well as principals at all levels - Elementary-Middle-High

    • Ability to work independently with a strong and disciplined work ethic

    • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments, functions, and cultures

    • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

    • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills

    • Proficiency with computers and programs, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office,

    • Fluency and confidence in working with online sales tools including zoom, google web meetings, salesforce.com, Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and related sales productivity tools

    EXPERIENCE:

    • B.A./B.S. degree in Education, Sales, Business Administration or relevant field

    • 5+ years of experience working as an Inside Sales Representative and selling an online K-12 publishing program and consistently exceeding your sales goals

    • Experience creating demand for and generating New sales of online, subscription-based K-12 curriculum programs

    • Experience building a sales pipeline and managing prospects through a defined sales process

    • Sales experience needs to be as a “Hunter” rather than a “Farmer” focused on New Sales generation (not just responding to Inbound calls or customer service inquiries) with the ability to create demand for a program through the articulation of its strong value proposition

    • Background working in an extremely high-growth (50%-100% annual growth) online educational business
