We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

     

    Precise is currently looking for an Acquisition Manager in support of WOLF SCMS. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD. 

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO - 

    • Analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of the strategic and acquisition support SOW paragraphs.
    • Lead and guide the work of acquisition support staff, serve as a point of contact for this functional area for designated leaders within the SCMS Division, and interact collaboratively with other functional areas leads to provide overall strategic perspectives.
    • Performs more complex analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge acquisition, procurement and supply chain organization, operations, practices, and legal principles.
    • Assist with translating requirements into procurement documentation considering systems requirements and constraints.
    • Identify viable acquisition alternatives.

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION - 

    • Demonstrated ability to successfully work with large and diverse teams and the ability to effectively provide guidance, direction, and supervision in acquisition.
    • Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects and generate deliverables, processes, direct execution, and collaborate with customers and staff.
    • Demonstrated knowledge, and/or familiarity with the DoD and SECNAV 5000 acquisition series, Federal and DoD acquisition regulations and PPBE process.
    • At least five (5) years of supervisory experience required. 
    • Bachelors Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.

     

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
