Summit Technologies, Inc. has a potential opportunity for a Project Manager. In this role you will assist our client’s Subject Matter Experts/Program Managers in planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned tasks as specified at the task order level.
• Implement detailed timelines and status reporting mechanisms for projects.
• Monitor the timely completion of planned project tasks with all affected departments and communicate any delays.
• Recommend alternatives to internal and external management to get projects back on track.
• Prepare and present professional, high-quality, and timely deliverables and status reports.
• Provide technical advice and assistance to all levels of management officials.
• Assist in the development of guidance, procedures and standards for new and changing program areas.
• Ensure that all policy, regulatory and program issuances are properly integrated with other staff actions and are thereby fully supportive of mission requirements.
• Assist in the development of plans and complete projects, or portions of broader programs to resolve controversial issues.
• Analyze significant management issues and develop recommendations and alternative solutions.
• Maintain current detailed data for project management employing Microsoft Project, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Project and additional software in the Microsoft Office suite.

Certification:

• Project Management Planning (PMP) certification or Agile Project Management certifications.
