    Summit Technologies, Inc. has a position available for a SharePoint Content Manager in Ft. Lee VA. In this role you will be responsible for SharePoint administration and development of building a customizable, configurable website templates and reusable user interface solutions. This is an onsite position in Ft. Lee, VA which requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance, Security+ CE and MCSA SharePoint 2013 certifications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Gather requirements, create and manage the SharePoint portal content and act as the site collection administrator.
    • Diagnose and repair SharePoint portal issues.
    • Support in updating the tenant security plan and preparing documentation for incident response and disaster recovery operations.
    • Support the publishing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing of the Fort Lee website.
    • Facilitate automation of business processes by creating custom SharePoint solutions and workflows.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain branding and customizing Microsoft SharePoint Portals/Websites.
    • Provide on-going administration of SharePoint sites, including permissions, structure and content.

    Experience and Skills:

    • Knowledge of database design and development (Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)
    • Experience in building ASP.Net (C# preferred) data-driven websites and web applications.
    • Demonstrated skill and ability developing application-to-application communication interfaces utilizing web services architecture.
    • Experience with web server management.
    • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (jQuery preferred.
    • Experience with the following web development tools: SharePoint Designer, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Visual Studio Professional.
    • Experience branding and customizing Microsoft SharePoint Portals/Websites.
    • Experience administering SharePoint sites, including permissions, structure and content.
    • Experience facilitating the automation of business processes by creating custom SharePoint solutions and workflows.
    • Understanding of physical and logical server architectures for SharePoint.
    • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to non-technical users at all levels, and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to build customizable/configurable website templates and reusable user interface solutions.
    • Understanding of user experience principles, with demonstrated experience of their application.
    • Ability to work on team projects and on individual projects with minimal supervision.

    Certification:

    • Security + CE (or a qualifying IAT-II certification); and
    • MCSA SharePoint 2013 Certification.

    Security Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance (IT-II / T-3)
