We are searching for an Experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the Olathe, KS production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, overseeing and providing support of testing and manufacturing processes and procedures for all electronic manufacturing products produced at the Olathe location. The Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with Engineering, process team and production supervisors to ensure all testing and manufacturing specifications are met to provide quality products to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and design manufacturing process to maximize production efficiencies
Analyze layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and workforce utilization
Responsible for developing Flying Probe tests
Support the test and engineering needs of PCB testing
Provide testability reviews and input
Conduct acceptance test for Flying Probes tests
Oversee Flying Probe test software archiving and maintenance
Document processes and procedures for the development and use of Flying Probe tests
Provide test yield and defect reports to manufacturing for process improvement
Provide support for legacy test solutions
Partner with Process Engineering to solve complex manufacturing concerns
Preferred Qualifications:
BS in Engineering degree: Manufacturing, Electrical or Computer
2 to 4 years of related experience
Experience with in-circuit test or flying probe test development preferred
Experience with analog and digital in-circuit tests
Experience in ATE hardware development and debugging
Understanding and experience with DFT and DFM
Good knowledge of PCB design requirements, layout best design practices and PCB fabrication
Experience with schematic review for testability
Experience with JTAG/Boundary-scan techniques
Experience doing on-board programming of FPGA’s and Flash devices
Knowledge of the use of Excel to parse and manipulate data
Strong problem-solving skills
Experience with Python and writing Python scripts
Experience with National Instruments (NI) programmers and Labview
Experience with Mentor Valor and Seica Viva software a plus
