Radio Engineer SummitMedia, LLC Springfield Radio Operations, is seeking a part-time Radio Engineer. The Engineer works under the direction of the Chief Engineer to provide preventative maintenance, instillation, and emergency repairs to video, audio, IT, and HD equipment, radio frequency systems, and other equipment to the radio station. Qualifications: Requires Associates degree in technology, electrical engineering, information technology or related field; SBE certification preferred; 2 years experience in radio broadcast engineering or equivalent experience; familiarity with various test instruments, alignment apparatuses and knowledge of personal computers; operational knowledge of radio station equipment; must be self-motivated and have good time management skills; ability to work well with others; ability to effectively identify basic problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them; must have ability to comprehend schematics, mechanical drawings and technical manuals; and lift up to 75 lbs.
