Sun Country Sports Center® has been a family-owned Florida business for over thirty years. We are a multi-program family and youth sports center whose mission is for every person to feel better about themselves when they walk of our doors than they do when they walk in. Our core values are safety, caring, sports and community.The Rainbow Gymnastics department leader oversees a team of 6-8 part time gymnastics coaches, and manages all operations of weekly, school-age recreational gymnastics classes. Duties include:

Coaches recreational gymnastics

Recruits, selects, hires and supervises part-time gymnastics coaches

Makes schedule for employees

Develops and implements effective recreational gymnastics lesson plans

Manages semi-annual parent showcase, “Rainbow Meet”

Communicates clearly with employees and customers via email, phone & in person

Assists marketing to ensure consistency with programming

Creates & maintains high quality work environment so staff are motivated to perform at their highest level

Promotes Sun Country and its programs via Social Media and other outlets

Performs other duties as assigned by Directors

Required:

Gymnastics coaching experience

Professional use of Microsoft Windows and Office applications

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in recreation, sports management, education or related fields

Supervisory management experience
