Position Overview: As an Income Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for assisting clients with both business and personal tax filings. Your role will involve comprehensive knowledge and application of tax laws across all 50 states. We are looking for detail-oriented professionals who can deliver accurate and timely tax returns while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
• Review financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
• Offer tax advice and planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Stay updated with ongoing changes in tax regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and accuracy in all filings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax regulations.
• EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation preferred.
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and accounting tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and client service skills.
