WHAT THE POSITION DOES: The role of a SOLAR PROJECT COORDINATOR is to proactively carry the residential customer through the entire solar installation process, from the time of sale to system turn-on. You will know you have achieved success when the customer is positively “wowed” by the overall experience. This position is ultimately responsible for coordinating the various internal (i.e. warehouse, purchasing, installation crews, accounting, design etc.) and external entities (utility, HOA, city jurisdictions, subcontractors etc.) to meet the installation goals of the project. Our Residential Project Coordinators are based in the office but may visit a larger or more unique customer job sites from time-to-time to ensure project success. Typical hours for this role are 7 am to 4 pm (with some flexibility allowed if it works for both sides). WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE EXTRAORDINARY IS THAT WITH THE HELP OF A CUSTOMIZED COMPUTER SYSTEM AND OTHER DEPARTMENTS, THEY ALSO MANAGE 50 – 75+ PROJECTS AT A TIME THROUGH VARIOUS PHASES OF THE 3 – 6-MONTH INSTALLATION CYCLE. WHO WOULD NOT ENJOY THIS ROLE: If you prefer that systems and processes remain the same then please do not apply. Our industry is very technical with many outside entities controlling our processes, this means change is constant. It also means that being a 'glass-is-half-full' kind of person is key. We all have off days, but if you tend to complain about things on a regular basis, with no intent to fix the problem, then you might not feel comfortable with our collaborative and continuously improving mindset.. Lastly, if you really get bogged down when things happen which are outside of your control then the construction world may not be your jam.
