Position Summary:

SunEnergy1 is seeking applicants for its Greenwich Greenhouse Complex. The position will implement our plant health care program including organic fertilization, IPM, and preventative care of trees shrubs, and lawns.

The successful applicant will also assist in the installation and care of residential gardens, including maintenance of perennial, vegetable, container, and cutting flower gardens; pruning of shrubs and ornamental trees; provide watering and management of irrigation systems, and perform other activities related to providing plant health care. Examples of tasks include helping move and apply mulch, weeding flower beds, planting, deadheading, moving pruning debris, spot seeding lawns.

Job Requirements:

Applicants must be positive, energetic, and ready to do physical work in a variety of weather conditions.

A valid driver's license is required. Must be able to maintain hourly work log.

Previous horticulture/garden/tree knowledge is required.
