SunPlus Data Group, a technology company with 15 years of expertise in the IT Staffing industry, is in partnership with the Georgia State Government to recruit Procurement Business Analysts in Atlanta, GA.

• Pay rate is: $43/hr on W2 and $48/hr on 1099
• Highly competitive pay
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• HYBRID; GDOT will reimburse authorized travel expenses lodging, meals, and use of a personal vehicle.
• Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.

The primary responsibility and expertise will be to analyze enterprise-wide customer business needs & participate in the planning, design & implementation of new or enhanced systems or reporting/analysis on multiple IT development projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in the demand management process to assist the business in establishing business cases,
• scope, and requirements relating to requests for new systems or existing system changes
• Primarily support IT acquisition of products or services by developing scopes of work
• Consults with project teams and architects to identify currently known solutions or perform market research
• Gathers information/documentation from vendors or contractors
• Translates business needs into requirements and functional/non-functional specifications
• Gather, clarify/define, and document scope, business scenarios, workflows, requirements, etc.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions
• Analyzes and validates business requirements and processes, identifies opportunities for process
• enhancement to benefit the Department, identify gaps in information
• Uses a structured process to define priorities and opportunities and/or works with stakeholders to define the
• minimum viable product (MVP) and options for improvements via subsequent phases
• Produces required work artifacts
• Communicates and presents client’s business requirements to implementation teams
• Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and system
• architects
• Works with the team to define acceptance criteria or other metrics/performance goals for the system
• Provides status updates, completes weekly work time logs, updates work tickets weekly
• Provide estimates and target dates for task completion for incorporation into project schedules or work tickets
