    Job Description

    Allstate's Suncoast Agency is expanding and has openings for LICENSED SALES PRODUCERS in our 5 Cities and Santa Maria offices. We are seeking passionate, self-driven, natural born sales people with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. You will sell, market, and service our insurance products to existing clients and new customers. As a full-time agent you will help individuals, families, and small businesses secure their tomorrows. As a Licensed Sales Producers, you will be an employee of the agency and not of Allstate Insurance Company or its affiliates. We offer base pay and monthly commission opportunities in addition to other voluntary benefits and 401(k) plan.

    Responsibilities:.

    • Prospect and generate new business through leads and referrals
    • Cross-sell existing existing customers with other Allstate and brokered insurance products
    • Develop ongoing networking relationships with small to medium size business owners, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, title companies, auto dealers, apartment/condo managers, etc.
    • Coordinate and participate in community events and sales events/fairs
    • Compose letters and correspondence
    • Work well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude

    Requirements:

    • Prior insurance experience is preferred but not required. Prior proven sales track record is needed to be considered. Agency will support licensing to occur within 30 days of hire.
    • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
    • Interest in long term employment with opportunities to grow skills and accountability in the agency
    • Ability to adapt during changes in carrier guidelines, processes, and systems as well as agency goals
    • Ability to travel between locations and to clients located on the central coast of California
    • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills and phone etiquette.
    • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
    • Create relationships from a cold start
    • Computer skills to work with multiple and varied agency systems
    • Business writing skills
