General Overview
The Busser is responsible for supporting servers in carrying bottles, glassware, and other items to designated tables. Proactively performing cleanup duties and/or maintenance pre-shift, during shift, and post shift.
Summary of Responsibilities
Deliver bottles, glassware, and other items to designated tables.
Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
Bus tables by removing dirty glassware and trash
Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory
Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food
Assist setting up tables before service
Handle various impromptu requests from customers
Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Well-organized with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Possess strong work attention and attention to detail
Education and Experience
Must be at least 18 years old
Previous experience preferred
Must complete BASSET Certificate
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 30 pounds
