    Sundance Catalog has a great opportunity for someone to assist us as a PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT / DESIGN ASSISTANT in our HOME category.     SUMMARY

    The Product Development / Design Assistant works in our Home category with the Senior Director of Design and Product Development to help facilitate the execution of products for multiple seasons.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Communicate accurate product information to all vendors and internal departments.
    • Communicate product/merchandise changes to vendors on both product development items and existing vendor product lines.
    • Organize, maintain and update product logs.
    • Follow up on all product samples.
    • Organize, maintain, and update product library, current vendor line catalogs, and artist files.
    • Work with the home team to prepare drawings, images, samples or other items needed to hand off to vendors when requesting new product designs.
    • Ensure correct samples are available for photography at company meetings.
    • Attend meetings as needed.
    • Ensure photo samples are accurate and submit to production by due date.
    • Act as a contact for both vendors and internal company as needed.
    • Act as a contact for artists once an artist’s work is selected as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clerical environment
    • Previous experience in a retail environment preferred.
    • An intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
